Notes from the pastor
It's November . . .and Change is in the air at Voyager Chapel
Welcome “Home” Voyager Family! I’m excited to announce that Starting Sunday, November 2nd, Voyager Chapel will be offering TWO
WORSHIP SERVICES every Sunday morning through Easter 2026. Please stop right now and make a note of these changes.
- 9:00 am – a “Traditional” service will be held featuring our Chapel Choir, a Handbell Choir, congregational singing the beloved Hymns of our faith, and a challenging message from God’s Word.
- 11:00 am – a “Contemporary” service will be offered featuring our Praise & Worship Band, congregational singing today’s contemporary Christian music, and a challenging message from God’s Word.
I’m also excited to introduce Michael Hood as the Chapel’s new Choir Director. Michael comes to Voyager with an extensive background as a professional musician, music teacher, director and composer. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and Connecticut State University, majoring in music at both schools, and graduating from both Magna Cum Laude.
I also want to express my deepest appreciation to Ken Clinton who has served as the Chapel’s Choir Director for the past 6 seasons. Ken also brought an extensive professional musical background to the Chapel choir. He has been loved and appreciated by all the choir members for his gentle spirit and his skilled musicianship. Thank you, Ken! We wish you well.
